Coming to shelves near you on March 18th
If you’ve been looking for a middle grade novel about ghosts, friendship breakups and beginnings, cultural trauma, and a splash of awkward baby queer gender awakenings, then look no further than SOMETHING’S UP WITH ARLO, releasing on March 18th.
I’ve been overwhelmed by the love from early reviewers who’ve felt seen by this book, and can’t wait for launch day. You can still pre-order your very own paperback or e-book copy, or pick up from Canadian stores soon!
(American readers are still able to order copies from Canadian stores. Hopefully we can seal those American rights soon too…)
Celebrate ARLO together
For my Toronto and GTA readers and besties, you can catch me at TYPE Books (Junction) on March 23rd at 1 for a reading, quick book talk, and a signing. This will be a casual drop-in event, and perfect for kids. I’ll also have free book marks for LOCKJAW, ARLO, and upcoming BAD IN THE BLOOD. Come hang out!
Cover reveal for Bad in the Blood
Thank you thank you to Tundra Art Director Matthew Flute and artist Evangeline Gallagher for spinning up the perfect cover for my YA noir mystery releasing on September 2nd. Bad in the Blood is also available for preorder now—click the link to read the summary too!
Our publishing team is putting the final touches on the first pass pages, which include stunning clues between the chapters like business cards, magazine articles, flyers, and more! Hopefully you’ll be seeing more of BITB on NetGalley and Edelweiss soon. Until then, I’m hard at work on a sequel proposal so we can get you more complicated siblings, fey magic, and good old film noir angst.
